The Team
Andrew Wiltshire - Principal
Andrew
has practised exclusively in the area of family and de facto law throughout
his legal career. Prior to establishing Wiltshire Lawyers in February
2006, Andrew gained experience in both a boutique Brisbane family
law firm and in one of the largest, and most exclusive family law sections
in Australia.
Andrew has gained wide recognition in all areas of family law practise, particularly in complex property settlements and parenting disputes. As a result, Andrew has developed a strong client and referrer base throughout Australia.
Andrew is regularly invited to present seminars and training sessions to professional bodies such as accountants, financial planners and other law firms on how best to protect partys' interests via the use of Binding Financial Agreement (pre-nuptial agreements and post-nuptial agreements) and Cohabitation Agreements (de facto financial agreements).
After completing his secondary education at The Southport School on the Gold Coast, Andrew went on to complete his formal legal qualifications at James Cook University of North Queensland and the Queensland University of Technology.
Andrew is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia. Andrew is currently a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, the Family Law Practitioners Association of Queensland (FLPA) and the Queensland Law Society.
In his spare time Andrew enjoys golf, surfing and entertaining friends and family. Andrew is also a member of the Lakelands Golf Club, the Melbourne Cricket Club and the Southport Surf Life Saving Club.
